    Police raided and seized 180 liters of illegal raw liquor

    Meerut. In Hastinapur, in a joint operation of Excise Department and police station, raids were conducted in the forests of many villages of Khadar area. During this the team destroyed about 1500 liters of Lahan. Apart from this, 180 liters of illegal raw liquor was recovered.

    It was informed that to curb the illegal liquor distilleries burning in Khadar area these days, under the leadership of Excise Inspector Jyoti Agarwal, police station is conducting a raid on the hideout of illegal liquor mafia in Khadar area. The team first reached the bank of Budhi Ganga in the forest of village Rathora Khurd. However, before the team reached, the liquor mafia escaped from the spot. After this, a joint team of Excise Department and Police reached 17 plots ahead of Tarapur, where illegal liquor was being made on a large scale in Budhi Ganga. After crossing the stream of Budhi Ganga, the employees of the Excise Department reached near the distilleries, where lahan and liquor were seized and destroyed. However, no liquor mafia was caught by the Excise team.

    Excise Inspector Jyoti Aggarwal said that during the raid in 17 plots, about 1500 liters of Lahan and 180 liters of illegal raw liquor were recovered from 16 drums inside the drain.
    Three furnaces were found on the bank of the drain. The team destroyed the furnaces and lahan on the spot. A case was registered against unknown persons under relevant sections of the Excise Act.

    Excise Inspector Jyoti Agarwal says that to stop illegal liquor business in Khadar area, a continuous campaign is being raided. He said that action is being taken against all the liquor mafia. He said that illegal liquor business will not be allowed in the area at any cost.

Prior to this, all the four suspected Bangladeshis have lived in different cities of India.

    Meerut. Bike-borne chain robbers had created terror in the area for the past several days in the Thana Medical area. These chain robbers used to come on the bike wearing helmets and ran away after looting the chain. Medical police has arrested a chain robber. Vicious robbers had looted a gold chain from the neck of a woman walking in Sector 5 Jagriti Vihar Park of Police Station Medical Area.
    The victim woman informed the police. On the basis of Tahrir, police reached the spot and arrested the vicious criminal Kuldeep s/o Arvind resident of village Alum Meerut, who committed the incident with the help of CCTV camera. Medical police station along with the entire team caught hold of the accused who did the incident.
    Medical station in-charge Yogendra Kumar told that the vicious criminals have already gone to jail on charges of bike theft. This entire incident was carried out by two criminals in the incident of chain robbery. In which the accused named Kuldeep was arrested and the other is absconding.

    Meerut (IANS) | A woman has been found dead in Hastinapur police station area of Meerut district of UP. The woman was stabbed on her throat with a knife. The police gave this information on Monday. The deceased was identified as Meenu, a resident of Sarvodaya Nagar, Ghaziabad. According to the police, a call regarding a murder was received on Sunday following which a police team reached the spot on the banks of the Madhyaganga canal in Hastinapur area.

    Additional Superintendent of Police (Country) Kamlesh Bahadur said the body of a 32-year-old woman was recovered, whose throat was slit with a sharp weapon. An Aadhaar card and mobile phone were recovered from the dead body of the woman on the spot.

    The ASP said that the body has been kept in the mortuary at the district hospital for postmortem. Crime team and forensic team inspected the spot. At present the investigation is going on. A case is being registered under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.

    The official said several teams have been formed to identify and nab the accused. Police teams are scanning CCTV cameras installed in the area for clues.

    The investigation is on and efforts are on to crack the case, the official said.

    Man killed for demanding way for tractor to go

    Meerut, (IANS) | In Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, a man was killed for demanding to give way for a tractor. Aamir was passing through Solana village with two of his companions carrying straw on a tractor. Only then some people surrounded the road and found standing on the road.

    When Amir asked them to give way, a scuffle broke out between him and the other group.

    Later the same men armed with weapons reached Amir’s house and allegedly shot him dead after some argument.

    The accused have been identified as Afaq, Abad and Aurangzeb.

    Aamir was rushed to the hospital soon after the incident but was declared brought dead on arrival.

    Aamir’s body has been sent for postmortem.

    According to ASP Meerut Rohit Singh, the relatives of the deceased have given a complaint and the accused are being searched.

    Superintendent of Police Crime Anit Kumar told on Friday that, “Police had received an information regarding the manufacture and supply of arms.”
    The ASP said that, acting on the inputs, an illegal country-made arms manufacturing unit was busted along with the arrest of three arms suppliers involved in the manufacture and supply of arms inside a locked flat in Extension Society of Jagriti Vihar area under Medical Police Station. raided. In this action, 5 pistols 32 bore, 4 pistols 315 bore and equipment made in large quantities have been recovered. All these tools were used to make indigenous guns.
    The arrested accused have been identified as Anas (22), Shadan (25) and Shoaib (23). While one accused managed to escape.
    The ASP said that the accused have confessed to the crime during police interrogation and the supply of weapons is prepared on demand and pistols are supplied for Rs.35,000 and pistols for Rs.6,000 in Meerut, besides Delhi, Muzaffarnagar and Baghpat districts.
    According to the information, the Medical Police Station, on the intelligence information, has caught the illegal arms factory running inside the closed flat in the Extension Society of Jagriti Vihar area. The local police is probing further.

    Ghaziabad (IANS) | In Ghaziabad and Meerut, many people fell ill after consuming buckwheat flour during Navratri. Everyone got dizzy within half an hour after eating buckwheat flour. Then the vomiting started. These people had bought flour from different shops. On Wednesday, the first day of Navratri, people observed a fast. Had eaten buckwheat flour in the evening.

    It is believed that this contaminated flour was prepared in only one factory. From where it would have been supplied to various shops. At present, the treatment of all is going on in the hospitals. At the same time, the Food Department is taking samples of Kuttu from these shops and sending them for examination.

    The first incident is from Ghaziabad. Where about 100 people fell ill after eating buckwheat flour during Navratri. 80 people are admitted in four different hospitals. More than 20 people are present at their homes.

    On Wednesday night around 11 o’clock, the first information about health deterioration after eating buckwheat flour came from Dabana village. Some people from here were brought to the hospital in Modinagar. After this, the patients kept reaching the hospitals for the whole night. Apart from Dabana, people from Saunda, Sherpur, Dalla, Dabana, Ujaida and Nagla villages started reaching the hospital in large numbers. Apart from this, people started falling ill in Harmukhpuri and Jagatpuri colonies of Modinagar town. About 80 people are admitted in three hospitals in Modinagar and one in Muradnagar till Thursday morning. Doctors have given initial treatment to some people and sent them to their homes.

    SDM Shubhangi Shukla reached the hospitals at night itself. He called the CMO and asked to provide better medical arrangements. After this, the team of doctors was engaged in treatment throughout the night. Most of the patients said that they felt dizzy after some time after eating buckwheat flour. Then vomiting started and after that the condition continued to deteriorate. This is the problem with most people.

    Shubhangi Shukla told that at present the condition of all the people is stable. No one is serious. Samples of buckwheat flour are being sent for investigation. It is being ascertained from where the shopkeepers had bought this flour. After locating the factory, action will be taken there as well.
