The deceased was living her married life with her accused husband. At first, the family atmosphere remained peaceful for 6 months, but gradually the accused husband argued with the deceased about not bringing gold and silver jewelery as dowry and started torturing the deceased.
Let me tell you, the process of harassment did not stop here, along with preventing the deceased from participating in any auspicious program at her maternal home, she started curtailing phone conversations with family members. According to the police, the people of the maternal side used to come to the in-laws house to meet the deceased, while the accused husband used to behave like a coward. Which was against the self-respect of the deceased and in view of all this incident, the woman committed suicide by hanging herself in her room on 10th May.
