    Mohla-Manpur. District collector S. Jaivardhan and Superintendent of Police Ratna Singh made an intensive tour of Bastar and Maharashtra border Aundhi police station area under Manpur block. During this, both felt the pulse of the security system and administrative work in the area.

    Mohla-Manpur. Chhattisgarh’s Mohla-Manpur police has taken major action. The police have arrested those who set fire to the goddess statue. There were 4 accused of setting fire to the Goddess idol, who are now behind bars. The SIT team formed by SP Ratna Singh solved the issue. All the arrested are residents of rural village Sarkheda.

    The SIT along with the Aundhi police was constantly engaged in the investigation of the case. Tools used in arson and sabotage have also been recovered from the possession of the accused. Additional SP Puplesh Kumar has confirmed. On June 2, the idol of the goddess was broken and burnt by the accused in Sarkheda village. After the incident, the atmosphere in the village and the area was heated. The two sides were face to face. Police has got great success in maintaining peace in the area.
