    Two killed, one injured in accident

    Two youths were killed while one suffered injuries when the two-wheeler they were riding on got hit by a car in Pehowa late last night. The car driver managed to flee the spot. The injured were rushed to CHC Pehowa where they were declared brought dead. A case has been registered at the Pehowa police station. — TNS

    Man killed in hit-and-run

    Gurugram: A 35-year-old man was killed in a hit and run incident while returning home after dinner from Bajghera last night. The victim, Santosh Kumar, was accompanied by his roommate when he was struck by a speeding car from behind. The police registered a case under Sections 279 and 304-A of the IPC at the Bajghera police station.

    One injured in Parwanoo factory fire

    One worker was injured when fire broke out at AB Tools Private Limited at Sector 3, Parwanoo, on Monday morning.

    Fire staff rushed to the spot to douse the flames on receiving the information. A casting machine of the auto parts unit where inflammable material like thinner and paint were lying caught fire.

    The injured worker has been identified as 45-year-old Kum Raj. He was rushed to the ESI hospital at Parwanoo for treatment.

    As per the preliminary findings, the fire was caused by the short-circuit, said Parwanoo Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pranav Chauhan.

    The fire staff managed to save property worth crores. Two fire tenders were summoned and the fire was brought under control after nearly an hour.
