    Cancer detection camp organized by Rotary is getting good response

    Rajamahendravaram (East Godavari district): Rotary Club of Rajamahendravaram Icons and GSL Hospital jointly organised free cancer screening camp at Thyagaraja Narayanadasa Kalyana Mandapam in Rajamahendravaram on Friday.

    District SP Sudhir Kumar Reddy inaugurated this medical camp and Rotary Governor V Bhaskararam was the chief guest. Along with cancer diagnostic tests, dental treatment services and general medical tests were also conducted. The camp will continue on Saturday also.

    SP Sudhir Kumar Reddy said that cancer can be cured if detected early.

    He appreciated that this cancer diagnosis camp is organised with the service motto. Rotary Club of Rajamahendravaram Icons President Thigala Raja said that those, who are diagnosed with cancer in time and receive appropriate treatment, can live a normal life. Diagnosing tests for breast cancer, cervical cancer and throat cancer in women have been done, he said.

    Camp organisers said that those diagnosed with cancer will receive treatment through Aarogyasri at GSL Hospital.

    Rotary Club of Rajamahendravaram Icons Treasurer Grandhi Raja, Directors M Venkateswara Rao, Kankatala Murthy, Raghunadharaju, R Durgaprasad, John, Kumar, Tatarao and others were present.

    Oil and Natural Gas Corporation conducts ‘Offsite Mock Drill’

    Kakinada : Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Kakinada, in association with Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district authorities conducted an ‘offsite mock drill’ at Odalarevu onshore terminal on Friday.

    Led by Executive-Director Asset Manager Ratnesh Kumar, the emergency response drill demonstrated a scenario of gas leakage from 14” high pressure gas pipelines connecting Vasistha and U-field subsea wells to VA-S1 plant. The exercise was aimed at demonstrating emergency preparedness of ONGC, mutual aid industries and district crisis group to create awareness amongst the local populace.

    Enacting the scenario, at the onset of emergency, DMP (Disaster Management Plan) was activated, which incorporated close co-ordination among M/s Vedanta, M/s PIL, fire services departments of ONGC Kakinada, ONGC Rajahmundry and M/s GAIL, state fire services and medical departments of ONGC Kakinada and A.P. state government.

    The Disaster Management Plan was successfully executed with support from district Collector and District Magistrate Himanshu Shukla and SP P Sridhar.

    RDO Vasanta Rayudu along with officials from ONGC took part in the mock drill, which is an integral part of ONGC’s culture of safety based on the guidelines of DGMS and is organised periodically.

    Jabalpur. Every citizen of India travels by train hundreds of times in his lifetime and the pleasant experiences of train journeys remain etched in his mind. Now you can win prizes by writing these sweet memories of train travel. Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) is organizing Rail Travelogue Award Scheme Competition at All Railway level for all Indians including railwaymen. Its purpose is also to improve railway facilities and promote the use of Hindi. The winners of this scheme will be given cash amount and citation. Under this, a first prize of Rs.10,000/-, a second prize of Rs.8000/-, and a third prize of Rs.6000/- will be awarded. Apart from this, five Prerna Puraskars carrying Rs.4000/- each will be given.
    Some important points to note for the participants
     Rail travelogue should be in Hindi language and must be original.
    Should be minimum 3000 words and maximum 3500 words.
     Rail travelogue should be typed in double space and should have one inch margin all around.
    The pages should be numbered sequentially.
     At the beginning of the report, name, designation, age, office/residential address, mother tongue, mobile number, e-mail, total number of words in the report should be mentioned in capital letters on a full sheet of paper.
    Officers / employees working in the service of the Central or State Government desirous of participating in this scheme will have to give a declaration to the effect that no case related to Vigilance / Discipline and Appeal Rules is pending or pending against them. Applicants who are not in government service will have to give a declaration to the effect that neither any criminal case is pending against them nor they are facing any kind of punishment. Apart from this, all the participants will also have to mention in the declaration that – “The related rail travelogue is my original creation, it has not been rewarded under any other award scheme.” Chief Public Relations Department of West Central Railway It was told that the participants should submit their entries in two copies till 31 July 2023 to the Assistant Director, Hindi (Training) Room no. 536-D, Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), Raisina Road, New Delhi-110 001 without fail.

    Hyderabad: The South Central Railway Sports Association (SCRSA) will be organising a summer coaching camp for children up to 16 years from May 1 to June 4at Railway Sports Complex Grounds, Secunderabad.

    The camp will include Athletics, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey and Kabaddi and basic fitness training /yoga training for adults age above 20 years. The camp will function from 6 am to 8.30 am. Interested ones can collect the application forms from the Sports Office

From today till April 24, Kaushalya Mahotsav is going to start in Chandkhuri of Arang Vidhansabha. CM Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav this evening. CM Bhupesh had announced to celebrate Kaushalya Mahotsav in the assembly. Gaurav Dwivedi, advisor to Chhattisgarh government, met actor Ramcharan Teja in Delhi in the month of March. Dwivedi had invited Ramcharan to visit the holy land of Chhattisgarh.

    During this, he had also told about Lord Ram’s maternal grandfather in Chhattisgarh. After knowing this, Ramcharan had said about coming to Chhattisgarh soon.     Security agencies have launched a special exercise to curb drug smuggling activities from the coast and strengthen maritime security. Operation Sagar Suraksha Kavach is being carried out in the coastal districts of the state for two days from Tuesday. As beautiful as the beach of Gujarat is, it is also considered as sensitive. Because India’s sea border is also located here. Coasts are also considered vulnerable because drugs, weapons or any other criminal activity can be infiltrated from the coast. In such a situation, all the security agencies are practicing for the safety of the sea. Presently Operation Sagar Suraksha Kavach is being implemented in 12 coastal districts.

In which Indian Coast Guard and Marine Police will be seen demonstrating their strength in sensitive and highly sensitive areas. The boats and people coming here will be checked continuously for 48 hours. This exercise is being done to establish coordination among all the security agencies.
