The victims have pleaded for justice in the police station. On the other hand, the police is investigating the matter by registering a case. The team is engaged in search of the absconding woman and man. Naubatpur Police Station President Prashant Kumar Bhardwaj has said that prima facie it seems to be a matter of love affair.

    Patna AIIMS started the country’s first six-year M.Ch course

    Patna (IANS) | The Trauma Center and Critical Care Department of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna has started a 6-year M.Ch course. Patna AIIMS is the first institute in the country to start a 6 year integrated MCh course in Trauma. The curriculum has been developed by the AIIMS Patna trauma surgery team under the guidance of Dr G K Pal, executive director of the institute.

    The course is designed to provide concepts of intensive care, laparoscopic surgery with multiple organ injuries, severe fractures, neurotrauma cases and critical cases requiring life support.

    A workshop has been organized on this topic in the institute. Dr. Amit Gupta, Dean, Dr. Umesh Bhadani, Medical Superintendent-Dr. CM Singh, Head of Trauma Surgery and Critical Care – Dr. Dr. Anurag, Dr. Majid Anwar, Dr. Rekha and Dr. Sanjay were present.

    Renowned trauma surgeon Dr. Amit Gupta said that AIIMS Patna is developing state-of-the-art trauma services for patient care, research as well as national capacity building. The introduction of first of its kind 6 year Integrated M.Ch course in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care is an innovative and visionary course.

    He hoped that this unique course would be emulated in all other institutes of national importance and would enhance the country’s capacity in trauma surgery and critical care and help reduce mortality and morbidity after injuries.

    After becoming the Executive Director of Patna AIIMS, Dr. G.K. Pal evaluates the trauma center and decides to improve quality care for trauma patients.

    Dr. Pal emphasized that the need of the hour is to start 6-year M.Ch.

    Dr Anil Kumar, head of trauma surgery and critical care, said research in trauma would also improve.

    Dr. Kumar thanked all the faculty members for their contribution in building a strong curriculum of 6 years Integrated M.Ch. course in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care for the country.

    The minimum eligibility to appear in the entrance exam for this course is MBBS with 1 year compulsory internship from recognized medical college. The total seats for this course in AIIMS Patna are 6 per year. This year top rankers of the country are joining this course at AIIMS Patna.

The accused caught in this gang told that they used to target especially women. Raids are being conducted in search of others. The accused told that he used to target only women.

    Police have recovered many mobiles, many ATMs, many passbooks as well as valuables from the accused. During interrogation, the accused have told that they have a big gang which carries out incidents of robbery especially with women at other stations including Patna Junction to Rajendra Nagar Junction.
