Pauri Garhwal: Forest Guard’s written exam will be held on Sunday, district administration engaged in preparations
The district administration has started preparing for the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission’s Forest Guard written examination to be held on the coming Sunday in Uttarakhand. According to the information, the SSP gave guidelines to all the station in-charges in the meeting to make the written examination copy-free. Where in the meeting organized through video conferencing last Friday, SSP Shweta Choubey told that this examination will be conducted in 44 examination centers of the district. Told that written examination will be conducted in 9 examination centers of Pauri, 13 in Srinagar and 22 in Kotdwar. The SSP instructed the SHOs of Kotdwar, Srinagar and Pauri to remain on the rounds during the police recruitment examination in their respective police station areas.
Along with this, the SSP instructed the LIU Inspector to keep a special watch on the electronic devices like mobile, phone, button, camera, bluetooth, pan camera etc. banned by the Public Service Commission while checking the candidates in the examination centers. Said that a close watch should be kept on the mischievous elements in the examination centres.

Pauri Garhwal: Police is making villagers aware by being active in areas included in regular police from revenue
Senior Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey went to the villages that have joined the regular police from the revenue police of the district and newly created police station Yamkeshwar and Chowki Bironkhal to educate rural women and school students about women-related crimes, side effects of drugs, cyber crime and Uttarakhand police app. All concerned police station in-charges have been ordered to run awareness campaign by giving information about Gaura Shakti module etc. In order to which today, on 29.03.2023, the newly created police station, Yamkeshwar Police, provided information to rural women, girls and girl students under the police station area about the facility of Gaura Shakti module and sos button available for women’s safety in the Uttarakhand police app. Self-registration is being done continuously in Gaura Shakti module.
Rural women, girls and girl students were given detailed information about prevention of increasing crimes, protection from cyber crimes, side effects of social media, emergency number dial-112, cyber helpline number-1930 etc. Along with this, Yamkeshwar police station staff, Dial-112 and main mobile numbers of the district were given to the villagers for any crime and police assistance. That campaign is going on continuously.

Pauri Garhwal: SSP Shweta Choubey held a meeting with departmental officers regarding the speed limit of vehicles in hilly areas
Today, on 27.03.2023, a meeting was organized by Senior Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey with the members of the committee formed at the district level to determine the speed limit on the mountain roads. Under which, within the limits of the Municipality/Nagar Panchayat of the district, speed limit determination in the hilly areas, geographical condition of the roadways, steep ascent and slope of the roadway, dangerous turns, rectification of black spots, dangerous turns on the roads, accident prone places. Instructed to take action for marking, removing the hoardings/objects on the roadways due to which the drivers are obstructed in driving.
Along with this, by putting signboards at important places, all the concerned were directed to strictly follow the rules while giving information about the traffic rules to the general public. It was directed to take action under the Motor Vehicle Act against the drivers who do not follow the prescribed speed limit.
