    Dantewada. The tire of a Hyva vehicle burst near a petrol pump at Nakulnar in Dantewada district, and the Hyva caught fire. The vehicle burnt to ashes in the middle of the road.     Actually, the highway was burning in the middle of the road. As a result, queues of vehicles were also formed on both sides of the route from Dantewada district headquarters to Sukma via Nakulnar. There was a long jam for 2 hours.     The Panchkula police have arrested an employee of a petrol pump at Pinjore for stealing Rs 6.90 lakh from the pump.

    According to the police, complainant Rohit Malik had reported that he had a petrol pump on the Pinjore-Baddi road. On May 23, unidentified persons arrived at the pump and broke all the CCTV cameras. The suspects then broke into the store room where cash was kept.

    The miscreants managed to steal Rs 6.90 lakh and escaped from the spot.

    The police were informed about the incident and a case under Sections 380 and 457 of the IPC was registered at the Pinjore police station.

    During investigation, the police arrested the prime suspect, identified as Nishant Patial, a native of Bilaspur district. The police said they had recovered Rs 5.40 lakh of the looted money from him.

    The suspect had been working at the petrol pump for the past a year and a half.

    The police said the probe was on to identify the other persons involved in the crime.

    Ohio: A 24-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh, who was studying for his master’s degree, was shot at a fuel station in the US on Thursday (local time), according to the Columbus Division of Police. Saish Veera, who worked at a petrol pump in Ohio, was shot dead by unknown assailants while on the job, police said.
    “At 12:50 AM on April 20, 2023, Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 1000 block of W Broad St. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim, identified as Saish Vira, Reported as M/O./24, Columbus Fire medics arrived with a gunshot wound and transported the victim to a local hospital.
    Despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at 1:27 AM. This incident is being investigated. Read the Columbus Division of Police incident summary. Police also released a picture of the suspect and asked for help in identifying the person.
