    Yemmiganur (Kurnool): Women and Child Welfare Minister K V Ushasri Charan on Thursday directed the officials to supply nutritious diet, eggs, chikki, milk, rice and others to the pregnant women without fail. Inspecting several Anganwadi centres in Yemmiganur town in Kurnool district, the minister enquired about the nutritious diet being supplied to the children and to the pregnant women as well. Speaking on the occasion, the minister asked the staff at the Anganwadi centre to monitor the personal growth and mental condition of children also. She also directed the Anganwadi teachers to teach words and rhymes to the children. She also personally inspected the weight of two children in the Anganwadi centre. After learning about the underweight, she ordered the officials to examine the reasons for weight loss and take necessary steps accordingly. She instructed the officials and Anganwadi teachers to regularly monitor the weight and height of children. If any of the children found underweight and height, then the officials need to pay special attention on their growth, she pointed out. The minister also directed the concerned officials to regularly pay visits to Anganwadi centres to know the stock of situation. She also directed the officials to initiate stringent action on the negligent officials. She later inspected the stock register and students’ attendance register. After inspecting the Anganwadi centers, the Minister fed the children besides tasting the diet. The anganwadi teachers are strictly ordered to keep the centers and the surroundings neat and clean. ICDS Project Director Uma Maheshwaramma, CDPO Safar Nisha Beum, Municipal Chairman Dr Raghu, Vice-Chairman Nazeer Ahmed and staff accompanied the Minister while inspecting the Anganwadi centers.

The mistake of the patient was that he refused to inject the female doctor.     According to the information, pregnant Payal Gupta, a resident of Camp-1 Tata Line, along with her husband Manish and mother-in-law Sunita Gupta had gone to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital Supela for treatment on Tuesday afternoon. Payal is three months pregnant. He was complaining of frequent vomiting. He showed Dr. Ankita Kamre on duty in the hospital. Dr. Kamre dips Payal and asks the nurse to give the injection. Payal’s mother-in-law Sunita Gupta refused to inject. Sunita says Payal is pregnant. Mitanin told her that no matter what happens, don’t get any injection except vaccine during pregnancy. Dr. Kamre was enraged on hearing this. He said that now he will have to learn treatment from the patient and Mitanin. When the relatives of the female patient insisted on not injecting, Dr. Kamre angrily removed the dip from Payal’s hand and chased her away from the hospital.

    Nahan: The cases of online fraud are continuously increasing in the state. Gangs are adopting new methods to carry out the incidents. Some such cases have also come to the fore in Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh. The gang members call from different numbers and call themselves government officials, and are making pregnant women victims of fraud. Lakhs have been cheated from the accounts of many women of the district. The women have also submitted a complaint to the police in this regard.

    For almost a month many women of Sirmaur district are getting such calls. Bank details of pregnant women are taken by telling them that funds will be made available in your account under various schemes of the Himachal government. During this, he is asked for the Google Pay number. Fraud details are given on Google Pay and the entire amount is withdrawn from the account.

    On being suspicious, when the women told the Anganwadi worker about the matter, he investigated it. From which it came to know that women are being made victims of fraud. The rascals have created a trap of cheating in such a way that there is no room left for doubt. The women are asked to download a “viewer app” and open the link. After which all the cash disappears from the account. The numbers of fraudsters 6291219934, 9525274855, 9771560128, 9973271392, 9546684918, 9631098985, 6291886379, 8044503241 have also been issued by women.
