    No stoppage at Bahanaga railway station: Railway Officials

    Balasore: Trains will not stop at Bahanaga railway station in Balasore district of Odisha till further orders informed the Railways officials on Saturday.

    It is worth mentioning that, the trains will not make stoppages at Bahanaga bazar railway station till further orders.

    The information on the same was provided by the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of South-Eastern Railway.

    The decision was taken after the tragic triple train accident in Odisha on June 2, 2023 in which as many as 288 people lost their lives, 1000 plus were injured.

    It is worth mentioning that the CBI is presently investigating reasons behind the major train disaster that took place on the ill-fated Friday evening.

    Update on Singhpur train accident, 5 loco pilots injured

    Bilaspur / MP. A major train accident took place at Singhpur railway station in Shahdol district at around 7 pm on Wednesday. The goods train coming from Bilaspur collided with the goods train standing here. Meanwhile, the third goods train was passing from there, as soon as the accident happened, both the wagons of the goods train fell on the third goods train and the engine caught fire.

    A pilot has died in the accident. At the same time, 5 loco pilots have been injured, who have been admitted to Shahdol Medical College. Relief and rescue work is being done with the help of the local administration. Railway officials from Bilaspur and Jabalpur have left for the spot. It is being told that the accident happened due to signal overshoot near the station. Although railway officials say that what was the reason behind the accident, it can be told only after the investigation.
