    Raipur. Chhattisgarh Electricity Board is going to recruit the vacant posts of Wireman in Raipur. Candidates can register on the department’s website (www.cei.cgstate.gov.in) till April 30. In the month of July, the department will take the exam for the recruitments. The department will not charge any fee for this registration. Candidates will get posting in Raipur, Balodabazar, Gariaband district. There is also a separate course in ITI for wireman, which students can do after 8th, 10th or 12th. By the way, many courses are conducted under ITI course. ITI wireman candidates are given information related to wire, in which wire installation, repairing, replacement and information related to electricity are taught in great detail. The minimum age for taking admission in Wireman’s course should be 14 years and no upper age limit has been prescribed.

Now we will extinguish the fire of the forests… This is the saying of the women of Jai Maa Sharda Mahila Self-Help Group under Beltara Circle wearing green saree as a symbol of greenery protecting the forest from the flames. Realizing the importance of the forest, these women themselves came forward to save it from fire and are playing equal participation with the forest workers by giving their contribution free of cost. Significantly, it is very important to protect forests from fire. According to the forest department, the fire season has started from February 15 and it is the priority of the department to save forests from fire till June 15. In this context, awareness campaign is also being run by the Forest Department to save forests from fire. Impressed by the awareness campaign being carried out to the villagers, the women of Jai Maa Sharda Women’s Group under Van Mandal Bilaspur themselves came forward and presented their proposal to the Forest Department to save the forest from the flames.
    Looking at the keenness and awareness of women, Divisional Forest Officer Bilaspur Mr. Kumar Nishant directed his subordinate forest employees that women who have come forward for this special work should be trained and encouraged to extinguish forest fires. Go As a symbol of greenery, these women have been given costumes of green sarees by the Forest Department and were also trained in controlling forest fires with fire blower machines. Free work is being done by rural women to save the forest from fire. Forest workers also accompany them in this work.

This violates the basic rights of children to get good health, nutrition and education and to be protected from violence, harassment and exploitation.

    According to the Child Marriage Prohibition Act 2006, the age of the boy should not be less than 21 years and the age of the girl should not be less than 18 years for marriage. If the age of the bride and groom is less than the prescribed limit, legal action can be taken against the parents, relatives, wedding procession and even the priest who conducts the marriage. Under the Act, if an adult male marries a female below the age of 18 years, he can be punished with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

    The person who conducts, performs or assists child marriage and the person who promotes, permits or participates in child marriage shall also be punished with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine. After child marriage, if the groom or the bride does not accept the marriage, then through friend, guardian or child marriage prohibition officer, or after attaining majority, can file a petition in the court to declare it void.

    If a child is forced, enticed or induced to enter into child marriage or is sold and used for immoral purposes, such marriage is considered null and void. When the marriage is declared void, the money, valuables, jewelry and other gifts exchanged between the two parties also have to be returned. In the Act, the District Officer of Women and Child Development Department has been declared as Child Marriage Prohibition Officer. Information about child marriage can be given to Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Police Station, Anganwadi worker, Sarpanch, Kotwar or regional officer employees of Women and Child Development Department.
