Raipur. Suresh Chakradhari, an employee who stole lakhs of rupees in cash from the MR store shop located in Dumartarai wholesale market under Thana Mana area, has been arrested. According to the information, Ajay Kumar Jaisinghani filed a report in Thana Mana Camp that he has a shop named MR Store in Dumtrarai wholesale market shop no. On the morning of 23.05.23, the applicant went to the shop with Rs. 5,85,000 in cash in a gray color bag from his home and opened the shop at around 11.50 a.m. and kept the cash along with the bag in the shop’s gutter, at the same time there was a crowd of customers and workers in the shop. The applicant was alone in the shop and was transacting goods. About 10 minutes after the applicant had kept the cash amount in the neck, opened the neck again, took out a bundle of Rs 10 cloth from the bag kept in the neck and kept the bag again. Thereafter, the applicant continued to deal with the customers of the shop for about 20 minutes and after about 20 minutes opened the throat and saw that the cash amount including the bag kept in the throat was not Rs.5,85,000. The driving license, Aadhaar card, PAN card of the applicant were also kept in the bag. Some unknown thief stole the Mashruka kept in the neck of the applicant’s shop. On which crime number 161/23 section 380 Bhadvi was registered against the unknown accused in police station camp. Offense was registered.
On which a detailed inquiry was made with the applicant in relation to the incident by inspecting the scene of the incident by the police team of Thana Mana under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Mana. CCTV installed in and around the incident site. Apart from observing the footage of the cameras, informers were also engaged in the episode. Separate statements were taken by the team members after making detailed inquiries regarding the incident from the employees working in the shop. Meanwhile, on interrogating Suresh Chakradhari, an employee working in the shop, he repeatedly misled the team by changing his statement and seemed to be involved in the incident, due to which Suresh Chakradhari was arrested on strict questioning by the team members. Could not stand in front of his lie and finally accepted the commission of the said incident of theft.
During interrogation, accused Suresh Chakradhari told that he has been working in the applicant’s shop for the last 08-09 months. On the date incident, when the applicant was busy in delivering the goods to the customers, he took the opportunity to steal the cash and other documents along with the bag kept in the shop’s gutter and took it to the second floor of the shop and hid it in a cartoon and kept the bag for 02 days. He had taken some money out of his house and kept the remaining amount hidden in the same shop.
On which the accused Suresh Chakradhari was arrested and action was taken against the accused by confiscating the cash amount of Rs.
