Even after the excavation started last year, a large number of five stupas, Magh coins were recovered along with the seals (made of clay) of the Magh ruler. Deputy Director of Archeology Department Pratap Parakh told that pottery has been recovered from depth. There are also indications about the possibilities of settlements in the excavation site.

If the officials of the department are to be believed, as the excavation work will progress, it will turn the golden pages of history. Purushottam Sahu, joint director of the Rewa excavation site, said that special research work is being done on the ‘Magh Vanshi’ coins found in the excavation. Which indicates the inclusion of a new dynasty in the history of Chhattisgarh. Coins indicate that Rewa may have been a place for trade and manufacture of various materials. Sirpur must have emerged after Rewa Garh.

Officials of the department say that the recovery of the seal shows that a unit was also present along with the administrative officer during the Magh rule.
