After which the councilor complained about this fight in the police station. Its video has also gone viral. It is being told that there was a dispute between the two regarding the possession of the land. On the other hand, mediation between the two took place at the police station today in the presence of former BJP MLA Nand Kumar Sahu.

As soon as the auto approval is done, SMS will come in the mobile of the applicant and the next day the driving license will be sent by speed post to the given address of the applicant.

    Transport Secretary S. Prakash asked the Transport Department to make QR code based driving license in the new format for renewal of driving license on different types of vehicles in the state, change of address in driving license, damage of driving license card, surrender of driving license. Initiative has been taken to provide facilities to the general public by using new technology, taking advantage of which the compulsion to come to the RTO office for 06 services related to driving license has ended. Through Aadhaar Authentication, general public can avail these 06 services sitting at home or through Transport Facilitation Center.

    Transport Commissioner Dipanshu Kabra said that the facilities being provided to the public through Transport Facilitation Centers are being expanded so that the public can avail the facilities of the Transport Department sitting at home – renewal of driving license, change of address in driving license, driving license If the card gets damaged, there will be no need to come to the transport office to surrender the driving license. He said that the compulsion to come to the transport office to obtain the extract of the driving license for legal purposes and to surrender the driving license of any class of vehicle has been done away with. Now all these works can be done from home or from the Transport Facilitation Center. To get the benefit of these facilities without coming to the office, Aadhaar authentication will have to be done. At present, for these facilities one had to apply online and upload all the documents and had to come to the RTO office after paying the fees online, all the documents were verified by the staff in the office only after that the driving license was approved by the RTO.     Technically solving these problems, all such applications which are applying with Aadhaar authentication, those applications will automatically be auto approved by the software, so that there will be no need for RTO staff verification and RTO approval. There will be no human intervention in the work of auto approval and it will be approved immediately as soon as the application is made. As soon as the auto approval is done, SMS will come in the applicant’s mobile and the next day the driving license will be sent through speed post to the applicant’s given address. Applicant will be informed through SMS and WhatsApp. The intimation will contain the details related to the Driving License and Tracking ID of the Speed Post, so that the applicant will be able to track the status of the Driving License reaching the Post Office.

    The Transport Commissioner said that it is mandatory for the applicant to have Aadhaar card and driving license to avail the facility of auto approval by applying through Aadhaar authentication. In order to link the Aadhaar information with the driving license, Aadhaar authentication has to be done which the applicant can do through OTP himself or by giving biometrics at any nearest Transport Facilitation Centre. By applying under Aadhaar Authentication, the applicant will not even need to upload the documents, rather all the information will be received from Aadhaar.

    If the age of the applicant is more than 40 years, then in such case the applicant will have to produce a medical certificate in Form 1A from a MBBS doctor registered in the Transport Department. The complete process of making medical certificate will also be online. In this, direct entry is made by the doctor in the portal of the Transport Department and no physical paper is required.

The event received support from the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Bastar district administration, and local partner organizations.
