    Director, Epidemic Control, Dr. Subhash Mishra said that the state government is constantly striving to achieve better targets in the direction of malaria control. To make the state malaria-free, the eighth phase of Malaria-free Chhattisgarh campaign is being started from June 15 to July 10, so that the target of complete malaria-free state can be achieved by taking malaria cases to the lowest level. This campaign will be conducted for 25 days in total 23 districts of the state including all the seven districts of Bastar division.

    Dr. Mishra said that in the eighth phase of malaria-free Chhattisgarh campaign, a target has been set for malaria screening of about 22 lakh people of the state.
