Governor listened to ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Raj Bhavan
Raipur. The Governor listened to the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme. And said that today’s day is historic in the sense that it shows the popularity and continuity of this program which started on October 03, 2014. Mann Ki Baat is not just a programme, but has become a powerful platform to inspire people, to bring to the fore inspiring stories among us and to transform the ideas needed to build a new India into a mass movement. Prime Minister Modi has increased people’s participation in this journey of development by having direct and two-way communication with the people through this programme.
In Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi said Charaiveti Charaiveti Charaiveti means keep walking, keep walking, keep walking. He said that today we are completing the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the same spirit of Charaiveti Charaiveti. In every episode, the service and strength of the countrymen has inspired others. During this, PM Modi said that in a way, every episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ prepares the ground for the next episode. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has always moved forward with a sense of goodwill, service and duty.
Prime Minister Modi said that this program never let me go away from you people. When I was CM, I used to meet people there, but when I came to Delhi in 2014, I found that life here is very different. Responsibilities different, frills of security, time limit, something felt different in the initial days. 50 years ago, I did not leave my home because one day it would be difficult to contact people of my own country. The countrymen who are my everything, I could not live by cutting them off. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ gave me a solution to this challenge, a way to connect with the common man. The office and protocol remained limited to the system and public sentiment, along with crores of people, my sentiments, became an inseparable part of the world.
