The special thing is that an incision had to be made to connect the bone of the entire face, due to which incision marks were made on the face. But, the operation was done by taking coronal flap and from inside the mouth and only two small incisions were made on the face. This will not show the mark on his face.

    34-year-old Mohan Lal (name changed), a resident of Korba, was seriously injured in a road accident in the past, due to which the bones of his face were badly broken and his face was completely disfigured. Was. His forehead bone, nose bone, upper jaw bone, lower jaw bone, bones around both the eyes were broken into small pieces. After the accident, the patient had first gone to a private hospital for treatment.

    As many as 9 persons, including a one-and-a-half-year-old child, were injured today in a road accident at Dehuridhar under Karsog subdivision of the district.

    A total of 37 persons, including the driver and conductor, were on board the bus, when it rolled down the road at Dehuridhar.

    Karsog Sub-Divisional Magistrate Om Kant Thakur said five persons, who were critically injured, were referred to the IGMC Hospital in Shimla while four persons with minor injuries were admitted to the Karsog hospital.

    The SDM said a team from the technical wing of the HRTC also reached the spot to check the bus for technical faults (if any). A magisterial probe has also been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.

    “The Karsog administration has given Rs 5,000 each as immediate relief to the injured victims,” he added.

    An ambulance collided with a truck on the Bijnor-Muzzafarnagar road, leaving three people, including a patient, dead and four others injured, police said on Sunday.

    The incident took place on Saturday when the patient Rishipal was being taken in an ambulance from Haldor in Bijnor to a Muzaffarnagar hospital, SHO, Sunil Kasana told PTI.

    Those killed in the incident included Rishipal (30), his wife Baby (28) and ambulance driver Subhash (26).

    Four other injured were rushed to a hospital, where the condition of two of them was stated to be critical.

    A probe is on in the matter.

    Narasaraopet: Six women farm workers were killed and another seven persons were injured in a road mishap. The accident took place when a speeding lorry hit the auto in which they were travelling at Pondugala village of Dachepalli mandal in Palnadu district in the wee hours of Wednesday.

    According to Gurazala DSP Pallam Raju, as many as 23 agriculture workers were going in an auto from Narasapuram village of Damacherla mandal in Telangana to Pulipadu village of Gurazala mandal for agriculture works. When the auto reached Pondugala, a speeding lorry coming in the opposite direction hit it. As a result, five women workers were killed on the spot. Another worker died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. After hitting the auto, the lorry driver did not stop the vehicle and drove towards Telangana.

    The deceased were identified as Islavati Manjula (25), Bhukya Padma (27), Padiya Sakri (35), Bhukya Soni (50) and Malavat Kavita (30). Banavat Parvati (30) died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. Another seven persons travelling in the auto were injured and they were shifted to a private hospital in Miryalaguda for treatment.

    Police registered a case and took up investigation.

    DSP Pallam Raju said that six women workers lost their lives due to the rash driving of the lorry driver.

    Palnadu Superintendent of Police Ravishankar Reddy rushed to the GGH in Gurazala and consoled the family members of the deceased. He instructed the officials to take steps to conduct postmortem as early as possible. Ends Earlier, the police officials explained the details of the road accident to the SP.

    SP Ravishankar Reddy directed the police officials to take stern action against the accused responsible for the accident and deliver justice to the victims.     Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed shock over the death of six women agriculture workers in the accident at Pondugala and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members. He announced Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh to the injured.

    Miryalaguda MLA Gummadi Bhaskara Rao, Gurazala MLA Kasu Mahesh Reddy, former Minister K Jana Reddy and Nalgonda DCC president Sankar Naik visited the GGH in Gurazala. They consoled the kin of the deceased and conveyed their condolence to bereaved family members.

    MLA Bhaskara Rao extended financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each to the families of the deceased.

    Later speaking to the media, former Minister Jana Reddy urged the AP government to announce ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of the deceased. He spoke to the Education Minister Botcha Satyanarayana and Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy over phone and stressed on the need to announce ex-gratia. He urged Telangana CM KCR to take steps to render better medical services to the injured.

    MLA Kasu Mahesh Reddy assured that he will persuade the AP government to announce ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased as requested by Jana Reddy.

    Maha: Court Awards Rs 1.19 Cr Compensation To Kin Of 33 Yr-old Man Killed In Road Accident

    The Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) here has awarded a compensation of Rs 1.19 crore to the Mumbai-based family of a 33-year-old man killed in a road accident in 2019.

    MACT member M M Walimohammed, in the order passed on April 25, directed Gulnar Plastics Pvt Ltd at Silvassa, the owner of the offending vehicle, and its insurer Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd, to jointly and severally make the payment of Rs 1,19,64,400 to the claimants within two months along with an interest of seven per cent per annum from the date of filing of the claim.

    If they fail, they will have to pay the interest at eight per cent per annum till the realisation of the compensation amount, as per a copy of the order made available on Wednesday.

    The claimants in the petition were deceased Shailesh Mishra’s wife, minor daughter and parents.

    Their counsel S L Mane told the MACT that Mishra worked as a manager with a garments company and earned Rs 60,000 salary per month.

    The claimants submitted that on June 17, 2019, Mishra was travelling in a car from Kandivali to Andheri on the Western Express Highway in Mumbai.

    Another car came in a high speed from the wrong side and dashed Mishra’s car near Durgadi in Goregaon. Mishra received severe injuries and died on the spot.

    He was the only earning member of the family, the claimants said.

    The lawyers of the offending car owner and its insurer contested the claim on various grounds.

    The MACT in its order said the FIR followed by spot panchnama (inspection), the accidental death report and statements referred prove the involvement of the offending vehicle and the negligent driving of its driver.

    The police papers are relied by the parties, it said.

    “The opponent insurance company is directed to pay the compensation and is at liberty to recover the amount from the owner of the vehicle,” it said.

    The MACT directed that on realisation of the amount, a sum of Rs 25 lakh be kept in a fixed deposit in the name of the deceased’s child, Rs 15 lakh FD in his wife’s name and Rs 10 lakh each be paid to the parents of the deceased. The balance amount be paid to Mishra’s wife, it directed.

    The compensation amount includes figures under various conventional heads, including loss of estate, loss of consortium as well as funeral expenses.
