    Two killed in separate road accidents in Hyderabad

    Hyderabad: A LIC agent died after a lorry hit his motorcycle at Peerzadiguda at Medipally on Sunday morning.

    According to the police, Sai Kumar (25) was going on the motorcycle when a lorry hit the bike near Peerzadiguda Kaman. He fell from the bike and sustained injuries. He died on the spot. The police registered a case against the driver of the lorry and are investigating.

    In another incident at Shamshabad, a woman K Yadamma (54) died after a lorry hit a bike she was pillion riding on Saturday evening.

    According to the police, Yadamma, a resident of Shamshabad was going along with her son, Ravinder on a motorcycle. The victim was sitting pillion while her son was riding the bike. “At Ghashimiyaguda road stretch, a lorry hit the bike from behind. Yadamma came under the wheel of the lorry and died on the spot,” said Shamshabad police.

    A case is booked against the driver of the lorry.

    Road accidents are not taking the name of stopping in Uttarakhand. Road accidents are happening everywhere. Another accident has been added to the chain of road accidents. Let me tell you, the vehicle of the forest department overturned on the road and crashed near Ravada on the Sangamchatti-Agoda motorway in Uttarkashi. In which the vehicle crashed and fell into a ditch about 20 meters deep. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the team of SDRF and Forest Department along with the police reached the spot and took everyone out of the ditch. Three people were traveling in the vehicle during this accident, out of which one person has died.
    According to the information, the deceased person Shankar Anand was on the post of Range Officer in the Forest Department. The remaining two injured are forest guard and driver who were taken to the district hospital through 108 emergency ambulance. The injured were referred to Higher Center after first aid. At the same time, the dead body has been sent by the police for post-mortem after filling the panchnama. After this sad incident, there is mourning in the forest department.

    Let me tell you, range officer Shankar Anand, who died in the accident, was a 2018 batch officer. His wife is also posted in Tehri Dam Forest Division Forest Division on the post of Forest Officer. Both of them got married about two years back.

    Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the district today.

    The victim, Narender Kumar of Sarabai, was walking back home when the accident took place near the Kali Mata temple at Sarabai.

    When he did not return home, members of his family tried calling him up, but to no avail. They then went out looking for him and found him lying injured on a roadside. He was rushed to the hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.

    The police are speculating in the preliminary investigation that the victim was hit by a vehicle from behind on the Bhuntar-Sarabai road. The police said a case had been registered and further investigation was underway.

    In another incident, a person was killed when a car hit his bike while overtaking at Bashing on the Manali-Kullu National Highway, 6 km from here today.

    The footage of a CCTV camera installed on the spot, which has since gone viral on social media, shows a bike en route from Manali to Kullu. A speeding car attempts to overtake a bus and collides head-on with the bike.

    The bystanders rushed the victim, Sukhram of Kothi Sari village in Babeli panchayat, to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries during the treatment.

    The Kullu police were informed about the incident by the hospital authorities and a case of negligent driving has been registered against the driver of the car. The police said further proceedings are underway.
