At the same time her husband accused Samaru Ram Sidar alias Gabbar resident of village Garhpara Datod came and started abusing her. She called her mother Pitar Bai to convince her husband.

    Mother, father-in-law came to settle the dispute between daughter and son-in-law. She was trying to pacify the son-in-law, when the accused fatally attacked the mother-in-law with an axe. The mother-in-law was seriously injured when an ax hit her head. He was taken to Jaijaipur Hospital, where after first aid he was referred to Bilaspur. The old man was being taken to Bilaspur, but he died on the way. After hearing both the sides, Dr. Mamta Bhojwani, the presiding officer of the Second Additional Sessions Court, found that the deceased always took the side of her daughter in the fight between husband and wife, due to which the angry accused killed her mother-in-law with an axe. . The court convicted the accused Samaru Ram. In his order, he sentenced the accused to life imprisonment under section 302 and a fine of Rs 25,000. Government Advocate Additional Public Prosecutor Rishikesh Choubey appeared on behalf of the prosecution.
