    According to the information, more than 30 people living in the Sakti police station area had gone to Lailunga in Raigad district two days ago to work as confectioners. Everyone was returning to their homes on Friday after doing work. Meanwhile, the high speed pickup number CG 11 BH 8439 overturned near Nandeli turn. The people around informed the police about the incident. The injured were admitted to Community Health Center Sakti for treatment with the help of 108 ambulances. Seeing the critical condition of 4-5 injured, the doctor has referred them to Bilaspur Sims for better treatment.

    Eyewitnesses told that the pickup was at a high speed. The driver was under the influence of alcohol. Also, in a drunken state, he was driving at a high speed to overtake the Bolero, due to which this accident happened. People told that after the accident there was hue and cry.

Rishikesh Choubey, AGP of Upper District and Sessions Court, Sakti told that on June 13, 2021, at around 8 pm, Umed Bai was preparing to have dinner at her house. At the same time her husband accused Samaru Ram Sidar alias Gabbar resident of village Garhpara Datod came and started abusing her. She called her mother Pitar Bai to convince her husband.

    Mother, father-in-law came to settle the dispute between daughter and son-in-law. She was trying to pacify the son-in-law, when the accused fatally attacked the mother-in-law with an axe. The mother-in-law was seriously injured when an ax hit her head. He was taken to Jaijaipur Hospital, where after first aid he was referred to Bilaspur. The old man was being taken to Bilaspur, but he died on the way. After hearing both the sides, Dr. Mamta Bhojwani, the presiding officer of the Second Additional Sessions Court, found that the deceased always took the side of her daughter in the fight between husband and wife, due to which the angry accused killed her mother-in-law with an axe. . The court convicted the accused Samaru Ram. In his order, he sentenced the accused to life imprisonment under section 302 and a fine of Rs 25,000. Government Advocate Additional Public Prosecutor Rishikesh Choubey appeared on behalf of the prosecution.
