The police took the dead body into custody and got the postmortem done and handed it over to the relatives. According to the information, Tulsi Ram, who runs a chicken shop in Dharanda village, hanged himself in his house on Thursday evening.

    According to wife Sunita Devi, her husband used to run a chicken shop in Dharanda village and used to come and go from home everyday, but on Thursday evening he hanged himself in the house. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation by taking possession of the dead body and got the post-mortem done at Civil Hospital Sundernagar and handed it over to the relatives. Confirming the matter on Friday, DSP Sundernagar Dinesh Kumar said that the post-mortem of the dead body has been handed over to the relatives by the police and action under Section 174 CrPC is being implemented.
