    Traffic diversion from June 8 to 10 for Fish Prasadam

    Hyderabad: In view of ‘Fish Prasadam’ to be held at Exhibition Ground in Nampally on Friday, the Hyderabad City Traffic police issued a traffic advisory from June 8 to June 10.

    According to police, a moderate traffic congestion is expected on the roads around Exhibition Ground. Keeping commuter’s safety and uninterrupted commuting in mind, certain traffic diversions are placed to ensure motorists hassle free commuting.

    Traffic coming from MJ Market towards Exhibition Grounds will be diverted towards GPO Abids -Nampally Station Road on a need basis. From MJ Bridge and Begum Bazar, Chathri towards Nampally commuters will be diverted at Alaska towards Darussalam, EkMinar. on need basis.

    Motorists coming from the PCR Junction towards Nampally will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards BJR Statue. People coming from Nampally on four wheelers should park their vehicles at GruhaKalpa, Gagan Viharand Chandra Vihar and proceed on foot towards Ajanta Gate/Gate no 2 Exhibition Ground for Fish Prasadam, whereas people coming on four wheelers from MJ Market should park their vehicles at MAM, Girls Junior College, besides Board of Intermediate Education, Nampally.

    People coming from MJ Market in Buses/Vans should alight at Gandhi Bhavan Bus Stop and the Buses/Vans coming from Nampally shall alight at GruhaKalpa Bus Stop and proceed on foot towards Ajanta Gate/Gate no 2 Exhibition Ground for Fish Prasadam, after alighting of Buses/Vans they should park their vehicles at Goshamahal Police Stadium.

    Visitors coming from MJ Market on two wheelers shall park their vehicles at Bheemrao Bada parking area. The two wheelers coming from Nampally should park their vehicles at left side of the main road / earmarked for two wheelers in between GruhaKalpa to BJP Office.

    All VIP car pass holders coming from MJ Market towards Gandhi Bhavan should take left turn towards Gate No 1 of Exhibition Ground and CWC Gate towards VIP Entry Gate and the VIP car pass holders coming from Nampally will take ‘U’ Turn at Gandhi Bhavan and take left turn towards Gate No1 of Exhibition Ground and towards VIP Entry Gate at CWC Gate.

    After taking Fish Prasadam, the VIP Cars will exit from VIP Gate, CWC Gate, Aadab Hotel and take a left turn and proceed towards Nampally.

    Auto alighting arranged for people coming for Fish Prasadam Infront of Shezan Hotel, Bhavani Wines / Old Juvenile court and Excise Office. On the left side of the road, parking areas for the autos are earmarked. Government vehicles shall be parked at Bheem Rao Bada, Nampally.

    Police requested the citizens to make a note of the diversions and choose their travelling routes accordingly and cooperate with the Hyderabad Traffic Police. In case of any emergency call 9010203626 (Traffic Helpline) for any travel assistance.

    Traffic diversion on Friday for TS formation day

    Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police has issued a traffic advisory for the upcoming Telangana Formation Day celebrations on Friday. Anticipating a moderate increase in vehicular movement due to the event, the police have outlined certain traffic diversions to minimise inconvenience to the general public.

    During the celebrations, traffic will not be allowed between VV Statue, Necklace Rotary, NTR Marg, and Telugu Thalli Junction, and vice versa. Motorists traveling from Khairtabad, Punjagutta, and Somajiguda, intending to go towards Necklace Rotary, will be diverted at VV Statue towards Shadan-Nirankari. Additionally, during VVIP movement, traffic coming from Shadan Nirankari and Somajiguda will be temporarily halted.

    Motorists coming from Nirankari and Chintalbasthi, planning to go towards Necklace Rotary, will not be permitted to use the Khairtabad flyover. Similarly, those traveling from Iqbal Minar Junction and intending to go towards Tank Bund-Ranigunj and Liberty will be redirected away from Telugu Thalli Junction, Ambedkar Statue, and Tank Bund, and directed to take the Telugu Talli flyover towards Katta Maisamma Junction and Lower Tank Bund.

    Commuters traveling from Tank Bund and Telugu Thalli, who wish to go towards NTR Marg, will also be diverted at Telugu Thalli Junction towards Iqbal Minar Junction. Similarly, traffic from BRKR Bhavan towards NTR Marg will not be allowed and will be redirected at Telugu Thalli Junction towards Iqbal Minar Junction.

    Furthermore, traffic coming from Bada Ganesh lane towards Imax/Necklace Rotary and Mint lane will be diverted at Bada Ganesh towards Rajdoot lane. Conversely, traffic from Mint lane towards Bada Ganesh will not be allowed and will be diverted at the entrance of Mint lane towards Telugu Talli flyover.

    As part of the celebrations, NTR Garden, NTR Ghat, Necklace Road, and Lumbini Park will remain closed on Friday in observance of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations at the Secretariat.

    Regarding specific routes, traffic from Punjagutta, Somajiguda, Ayodhya, and Ravindra Bharathi will be temporarily halted at various points. Motorists coming from BJR Statue/Nampalli side intending to go towards Ravindra Bharathi/PCR Junction will also experience temporary delays at AR Petrol Pump. Traffic from Basheerbagh towards PCR will likewise be stopped temporarily.

    Additionally, RTC buses traveling from Afzalgunj towards Secunderabad are advised to avoid the Tank Bund Road and take the Telugu Talli Flyover, Katta Maisamma, Lower Tank Bund, DBR Mills, and Kavadiguda as alternate routes.

    Junctions that should be avoided include VV Statue (Khairtabad) Junction, Old Saifabad PS Junction, Ravindra Bharathi Junction, Mint Compound Road, Telugu Thalli Junction, Necklace Rotary, Nallagutta Junction, Katta Maisamma (Lower Tank Bund), Tank Bund, and Liberty.

    The Hyderabad Traffic Police have requested citizens to stay updated on traffic information through their social media platforms, such as the Hyderabad Traffic Police Facebook page (@Hyderabad Traffic Police) and Twitter handle (@HYDP). In case of any emergencies during travel, the traffic helpline number 9010203626 is available for assistance.

    Hyderabad: In view of the birth centenary celebrations of NTR at Kaithalapur on Saturday, the Cyberabad police issued a traffic advisory in Kukatpally. Approximately 15,000- 20,000 persons will attend, According to the police, traffic will be diverted from 1 to 10 pm; commuters are advised to use alternative roads to avoid traffic congestion.

    Traffic coming from Moosapet towards the KPHB-IV phase and Hi-tech City will be diverted towards Moosapet Crossroad,Kukatpally bus stop, JNTU junction, while that IDL Lake towards Madhapur and Hafeezpet will be diverted towards IDL junction, Kukatpally bus stop, KPHB road no 1, JNTU junction.

    Commuters from the Hi-tech City towards Kukatpally and Moosapet road will be diverted to KPHB-IV phase, Lodha Apartments, KPHB Road no.1; those from Parvathnagar and Madhapur towards Kukatpally and Moosapet road will be diverted to SBI Signal, NIA, left turn, 100 ft signal u-turn.

    Hyderabad: In view of NTR 100 Year birthday celebrations at Khaithalapur Ground in Kukatpally on Saturday between 1pm to 11pm, certain traffic restrictions will be placed in the surroundings.

    Traffic diversion points:

    *Moosapet towards KPHB-IV – Hitec City – Moosapet X-road- Kukaptally Bus Stop – JNTU Junction.

    • IDL Lake – Madhapur – Hafeezpet – IDL junction – Kukatpally Bus Stop – KPHB Road No.1 – JNTU Junction.
      *Parvathnagar – SBI Signal – NIA – 100 feet Signal.

    The Cyberabad Traffic Police requested citizens to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate.
