Former Twitter CEO’s big disclosure on Modi government, TS Singhdev shared the video

Raipur/Delhi. Twitter Co-founder Jack Dorsey has claimed in a video interview that his company had received several requests from India, in which it was asked to block the account covering the farmer’s movement. Along with this, there were requests to close those accounts too, which were opposing the government for the movement.

In fact, during an interview with YouTube channel Breaking Points, Jack Dorsey told that he received many requests from India. Tweeted this video clip on Twitter. In fact, during the interview, when Jack Dorsey was asked whether you had to face pressure from foreign governments in the past years. In response to this, Jack Dorsey has said that let’s take India as an example, from where he had received many such requests, in which requests were made regarding the protest of the farmers. Especially in this, the account of those journalists were also mentioned, who were criticizing the government. He said that it seemed to him that if Twitter does not do this, then Twitter will be closed in India and the houses of Twitter employees located in India will be raided. Also, he has said that India is a democratic country.

The list lengthens for the shame that the Modi Regime has brought to India.

Jack Dorsey compared India to Turkey and told that similar problem has been faced in Turkey as well. He said that the Turkish government had also threatened to shut down Twitter in Turkey, often engaging in court battles with the government and then winning. Let us tell that in the year 2021, the Government of India had brought three agricultural laws, it was withdrawn after protests. Thousands of farmers protested against this bill on the border of Delhi, the capital of India, which started around November 2020.

Twitter’s new update to only let Blue users send DMs to non-followers

Elon Musk on Monday said that Twitter will “hopefully” roll out a new update this week, which will limit the ability to send DMs to people who don’t follow you to Blue users.

A Twitter user posted, “My DMs have just become bot central. Never been this bad. “

To this, @TitterDaily-an account focused on providing Twitter news– commented, “Your DM spam should be going down considerably in the coming weeks.”

“Hopefully releasing the update this week. As I’ve said many times, it is increasingly difficult to distinguish between AI bots. Soon, it will be impossible,” Musk replied.

Big tech companies may lay off more employees: Musk

San Francisco (IANS) | Twitter’s outgoing CEO Elon Musk has said that Silicon Valley companies can cut more workforce without affecting productivity. Musk laid off more than 80 per cent of Twitter employees in October-November last year. Speaking at The Wall Street Journal’s summit in London, Musk said there are a lot of people on Twitter who don’t seem to be worth much.

That said, I think that’s true in many Silicon Valley companies. I think there is potential for significant reductions in other companies without affecting their productivity, without actually increasing their productivity.

Musk told conference attendees that Twitter now has about 1,500 employees, adding that it’s probably a reasonable number.

Twitter closed two of its three India offices and directed its employees to work from home. In November, Musk laid off more than 90 percent of its employees in India.

Musk said, we need to be very radical. Only exceptional performance will constitute a passing grade.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan arrested

Islamabad (IANS) | Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was arrested from outside the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday. Confirming the development on Twitter, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Musarrat Cheema said, “They are torturing Imran Khan right now, they are beating up Khan Sahab. They have done something to Khan Sahab.”
The development was also confirmed by PTI’s lawyer Faisal Chowdhary, Dawn News reported.

Karnataka HC reserves order on Twitter’s plea against Centre’s order to block account

Bengaluru (IANS) | The Karnataka High Court on Friday reserved its order on a plea by social media platform Twitter challenging the Centre’s directive to remove 39 URLs. The case pertains to 10 blocking orders issued to Twitter between February 2021 and February 2022, directing the social media platform to block public access to certain information and suspend several accounts.

Justice Krishna S. Dixit reserved the order after hearing the arguments of Twitter and the central government.

Twitter challenged the government orders, claiming they were arbitrary, and procedurally and factually not in consonance with Section 69A of the IT Act. Twitter also argued that blocking the account would violate the constitutional rights of users.

Apart from terming the order to block the account as a violation of Section 69A of the IT Act, Twitter claimed that the government orders did not comply with the 2009 Blocking Rules.

The Center in its reply said that these orders were issued in the national and public interest. Their aim was to prevent incidents of lynching and mob violence.

The central government had said that it intervenes only when there is a threat to the sovereignty of the country or public order. It argued that the company is a foreign entity and the 10 orders of the government are not arbitrary. Therefore Twitter cannot take refuge in the fundamental rights under Article 14 (right to equality) and Article 19 (right to freedom of speech and expression) of the Indian Constitution.

Stating that Twitter has no jurisdiction to support users, the Center argued that Twitter also has no jurisdiction to file the petition as it cannot speak on behalf of its account holders.

#GoBackFascistModi trends on Twitter as PM set to visit Telangana, TN

Hyderabad: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Hyderabad followed by a visit to Tamil Nadu in order to launch infrastructure projects along with a public meeting in Secunderabad organised by the state BJP, #GoBackFascistModi trended on Twitter on Saturday.

These tweets mostly emanated from Tamil Nadu where a tussle is underway between the BJP led centre and the DMK led state government just like the tussle between the BRS and the BJP in Telangana.

As per the itinerary, Modi will reach Begumpet Airport at 11.30 a.m. and then head to Secunderabad Railway Station to flag off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express. The new train is expected to reduce travel time between the two cities by almost three and a half hours and will be particularly beneficial for pilgrims.

After the flag-off ceremony, the Prime Minister will attend a public meeting at Parade Grounds, where he will lay the foundation stone for new blocks at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bibinagar. He will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station, which is being taken up at a cost of Rs 720 crore. The revamped station will have world-class amenities and an aesthetically designed iconic building. It will feature a double-level spacious roof plaza with all passenger amenities in one place, as well as multimodal connectivity for seamless transfer of passengers from rail to other modes of transport.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister will flag off 13 new Multi-Modal Transport Service (MMTS) services in the suburban section of Hyderabad-Secunderabad twin city region, providing commuters with a fast, convenient, and comfortable travel option. He will also dedicate to the nation the doubling and electrification of the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar project, stretching over 85 km, completed at a cost of nearly Rs 1,410 crore. The project will provide seamless connectivity and assist in enhancing the average speed of trains.
