    Ujjain. The father of 4 daughters fell in love with an unmarried girl in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This love between the two grew so much that both of them came to seek consent from their family members for marriage. But after the family refused for the marriage, both of them took the extreme step. Both of them consumed poisonous substance together. After which the lover has died and the condition of the girlfriend is still critical. The girl is being treated in a private hospital. The police is engaged in the investigation after conducting the post-mortem of the deceased. The incident is of Sanjay Nagar of Nilganga police station area. According to the information received, the father of four children used to work as a driver and his name is Jeetu Suryavanshi.

    Despite being already married, Jeetu was having an affair with an unmarried girl. Both wanted to get married and live together, but on the refusal of the family, both have taken this suicidal step, in which lover Jeetu has died. Police had received information that two people had consumed poisonous substance in a private hospital. Where a young man has died during treatment. When the police started the investigation, it came to know that a girl named Mahi alias Bhavna has also been admitted in the same hospital after consuming poison.

    The relatives of the deceased Jeetu told the police that he was having a love affair with Bhavna. Jeetu and Bhavna had consumed poison together in Sanjay Nagar. Bhavna is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Where she is fighting a battle between life and death. Additional SP Akash Bhuria told that police station Nilganga had received information that two people had consumed poison. On its information, the police reached and in the investigation found that both are lover-girlfriend. The lover is married and both have taken this step when the family refused to marry her again. Further investigation is being done by the Nilganga police after establishing a case.

    Bhopal (IANS) | Four days after the idols of Saptarishis installed in Ujjain’s Mahakal Lok Corridor fell in a storm, the Lokayukta of Madhya Pradesh has ordered an inquiry into the matter. An official told IANS that Lokayukta Justice N.K. Gupta has taken suo motu cognizance of the news published in the media regarding the incident.

    A team of Lokayukta police will assess the spot and submit its report within the next two weeks, the official said.

    The idols of the six Saptarishis had collapsed following which the opposition Congress criticized the ruling BJP alleging corruption in the Mahakal Lok Corridor project, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October last year.

    Senior Congress leader Sajjan Singh Verma has claimed that the idols of the Saptarishis were made of Chinese mesh instead of iron structures and the other material used was also not of good quality.

    Verma said on Wednesday, the color of the rest of the idols has also faded. The project had a provision to set up a laboratory to check the quality of the material used in making the idols, but it was not set up and the project was inaugurated.

    Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal’ to visit Ujjain, Indore as part of 4-day official trip to India

    Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal aka ‘Prachanda’ is all set to visit Ujjain and Indore in Madhya Pradesh as a part of his 4-day official visit to India next week, the Ministry of External Affairs said.

    Dahal, who assumed office in December last year, is set to begin his India visit from May 31-June 3 at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

    During the visit, the Prime Minister of Nepal will call on President Droupadi Murmu and Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

    In addition to the official engagements, the Prime Minister of Nepal will also be visiting Ujjain and Indore as part of his visit, according to the official release of MEA.

    A high-level delegation will accompany Nepal PM Dahal during his visit.PM Dahal will also hold extensive talks with Prime Minister Modi to discuss the diverse areas of the bilateral partnership between India and Nepal, the Ministry of External Affairs said in an official statement.

    Other Indian dignitaries will call on the Prime Minister of Nepal as well.

    The visit continues the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between India and Nepal in furtherance of the ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy.

    The bilateral relations between the two countries have significantly strengthened in the last few years in all areas of cooperation.

    This visit demonstrates the importance that both sides place on accelerating the bilateral partnership between the two nations. (ANI)

    Ujjain (IANS) | A car collided with a divider last night in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. Three people traveling in the car died in this accident, while the condition of two is critical. Those who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

    According to the information received from the police, the car of the youths who were returning to Nagjhiri after attending Roja, collided with the divider on Tuesday late night near the Polytechnic College on Dewas Road of Madhav Nagar police station area. The car has been badly damaged in this accident.

    According to the police, two youths died on the spot in this accident. While one died during treatment on Wednesday morning, two other injured are undergoing treatment at the district hospital. Road repair work is going on at the place where the accident took place and the car was at a high speed due to which it went uncontrolled and hit the divider.
