  • India’s reputation has increased in the world in nine years, no one can show us an eye: Chief Minister

India’s reputation has increased in the world in nine years, no one can show us an eye: Chief Minister

Lucknow (IANS) | UP Chief Minister Yogi said that in the nine-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while India’s respect in the world has increased, on the one hand, the internal and external security of the country has been strengthened. Today no one can dare to look at India. The Modi government has provided a strong foundation in the last nine years to four pillars like welfare of the poor and infrastructure development.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said this during a press conference organized on the completion of 9 years of the Modi government in the capital on Monday. He said that not only have we felt the changed circumstances in the last nine years, but we have also seen the new India during this period. Today’s India stands on four important pillars.

Referring to the first pillar, the Chief Minister said that today the prestige of India has increased at the global level. India is getting respect all over the world. Recently the PM has visited three countries, its vision is in front of all of us. Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea greeted PM Modi by touching his feet. By breaking the protocol, he received himself in the late evening. This is the first time that a sovereign nation has felicitated its counterpart in this manner. Papua New Guinea and Fiji conferred their highest honor on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from this, we all also heard the statement of PM of Australia, in which he addressed PM Modi as Boss. Not only this, expressing the desire to take PM Modi’s autograph on behalf of the President of America is not only an honor for India but also for 140 crore people of the country. Every Indian takes pride in this. Today India’s heritage is respected in the world. Every year on 21st June, the whole world is honoring the heritage of India by joining Yoga.

Referring to the second pillar, the Chief Minister said that today India’s internal and external security situation has strengthened. No one can try to look at India with a slant. Atal ji had said that we can do everything, but the neighbors cannot change. India has always been positive towards its neighbors. But some people are not able to get free from their tendency. For the first time, India responded in a befitting manner. The borders are secure and fortified. The internal security situation has strengthened. Be it Jammu and Kashmir or the Northeast, we have decisively brought down Naxal extremism, Maoism, separatism and terrorism. A sense of new hope and confidence has arisen in the country in terms of security.

CM Yogi said that today India has world class infrastructure to meet the needs of 140 crore people of India. The poor have also got air connectivity. After independence only 74 airports were built in 70 years. In 9 years, we have done the work of giving 74 new airports to the country. Apart from this, whatever changes are being seen in the field of highways, expressways, waterways, railways and logistics are unprecedented. A new network of public transport has been laid. Rapid rail, new ports are being built. The waterway is getting benefit from the floating jetty. New AIIMS are being built. Health infrastructure has become stronger. According to the aspirations of the country, infrastructure is being developed for every section.

The Chief Minister said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dedicated to the welfare of the poor. Without any discrimination, the work of taking forward the schemes is being done with the spirit of everyone’s support, everyone’s development. The scheme that started with Jan Dhan has taken so much expansion in no time. Accounts of more than 45 crore poor people were opened in the country. The change that was seen from this is unimaginable. UP got maximum benefit from it. More than eight and a half crore bank accounts were opened in UP. As a result of this, the benefit of DBT is being received. This is the biggest attack on corruption. The funds of the schemes are reaching directly into the accounts of the poor, farmers and labourers.

For this, Jan Dhan accounts were opened by running a campaign under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today, the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman, Pradhan Mantri Awas, Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana have been sent directly to the beneficiary’s account through DBT to the tune of Rs 3.30 lakh crore. While this total amount is around three and a half lakh crores, which shows that Uttar Pradesh is leading in the field of digital transactions in the whole country.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started BC Sakhi during the Corona period. There are about 56,000 gram panchayats in the state, out of which the process of selection of BC Sakhi has been completed in 55,056 gram panchayats. About 51000 BC Sakhi have been trained. Out of this, 41000 BC Sakhi are doing their work, who have done more than five crore 57 lakh transactions so far. Not only this, BC Sakhis have also played an important role in getting loans to the people with the help of the elders of the village. BC Sakhis in the state are not only a perfect example of women empowerment, but are completing all the transaction programs in the village by becoming their own mini branch of the bank in every village. CM Yogi said that in the last 6 years, we have achieved success in providing one house facility to 54.54 lakh poor people in rural and urban areas.

CM Yogi said that the benefits of the schemes of the government are being extended to every section. Earlier, the people of the state were not able to get the benefit of these schemes, because even before these schemes got into the ground, the ports were distributed. But today money is being sent directly to the beneficiary’s account with one click. He said that the aim of good governance is to give the benefit of the schemes of the government to the person sitting at the last rung without any hindrance or barrier. This is the concept of Ram Rajya. Today every citizen in every village of the country is successfully getting the benefit of the public welfare scheme. BC friends have a big role in this. He said that this national conference would be helpful in bringing the Prime Minister’s vision to the ground level in the state and connecting other sectors with it, because at present BC Sakhi is doing only banking transactions, soon new success will be achieved through her participation in other works. Will move towards heights. Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country where nutritious food is being distributed to every household and the needy through women self-help groups, while Anganwadi workers are doing this work in other states. Balini Milk Producer working in Jhansi and Bundelkhand is a living example of women empowerment, which started in the year 2019. Its transaction is currently unimaginable. The CM said that people cannot imagine that even women can work in this direction.

7 cases related to Gyanvapi dispute to be heard together: Varanasi court

VARANASI: The Varanasi district court on Tuesday ordered that seven cases of the same nature related to the Gyanvapi dispute will be heard together.

District Judge AK Vishwesh, while exercising his special power, consolidated the cases, despite objections from the opposition, special advocate for Gyanvapi and Adi Vishweshwar cases Rajesh Mishra said.

The district judge, in his order, said if all these cases remain pending in different courts, there is a possibility that contradictory orders may be passed. Whereas if all these cases remain in one court, there will be no possibility of any contradictory judgment or order in all these cases, Mishra said.

Citing Order 4A of the CPC, the judge said it has been provided that when two or more cases are pending in the same court and the court is of the opinion that it is in the interest of justice, their joint hearing may be ordered, Mishra said.

The judge said in his order that it would be in the interest of justice that all these cases be heard together, he said.

Advocate Mohammad Tohid Khan, who appeared for the Muslim side, opposed the hearing of all the seven cases together stressing that the issues related to Gyanvapi had not yet reached the stage that a decision should be taken to hear them together.

As of now, the court should have seen the evidence of all the cases. Had the evidence been the same, then it would have been just to give such a verdict, Khan said.

Litigants in the Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi case — Lakshmi Devi, Rekha Pathak, Sita Sahu and Manju Vyas — had urged the court to hear the seven cases together.
