  • The politics of casteism had done the trick: CM Yogi

The politics of casteism had done the trick: CM Yogi

Gorakhpur (IANS) | UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that caste politics had ruined Uttar Pradesh. This casteist politics created mafia, created identity crisis in front of the youth. The people of the state rejected those doing casteist politics, so today the same mafia who used to walk with chest stretched out are begging for their lives by hanging a placard around their neck. CM Yogi was addressing a public meeting organized in the grounds of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Junior High School, Raptinagar on Friday evening. The Chief Minister said that earlier extortion was collected from traders, whereas today street vendors are given the benefit of PM Swanidhi Yojana. Traders are given an accident insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh. Earlier, the people of the particular party used to spread terror by waving pistols in their hands, whereas today the government is giving tablets in the hands of the youth. Two crore youth were given tablets and smart phones.

Yogi Adityanath said that the money given by the government for the double engine should be used without discrimination, for this a board with full majority of BJP will have to be formed in all the bodies. He said that I did not come to campaign for a single day in my constituency. He was busy campaigning for elections in other areas of the state. Even then the people here made me win by 1.05 lakh votes. Every voter here considers our election as their own. Due to this affinity, their every problem becomes my problem and I try my best to solve it. He said that there is no doubt that Dr. Manglesh will win the election. But, his victory should be with such a huge majority and BJP’s board should be formed with full majority so that the message goes to the whole country that every voter of Gorakhpur wants development.

CM Yogi said that when the whole world was still thinking of doing something in the Sudan crisis, under the leadership of PM Modi, India rescued its citizens from there. 31 citizens of Gorakhpur-Basti division have also been safely sent to their homes yesterday. Similar efforts were also made for Indians stranded in Afghanistan, Ukraine and Russia. Referring to the crisis period of global pandemic Corona, he said that India arranged free ration for 80 crore people along with free test, free treatment and free vaccine for all its citizens. In UP, 15 crore people are getting the benefit of free ration. This has not happened anywhere else in the world. The public is the form of Janardan and it should not die of hunger under any circumstances.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s respect has increased on global forums. The whole world is considering the iron of India. By making PM Modi’s vision a mission, the government of Uttar Pradesh is benefiting every citizen through development and public welfare programs without any discrimination. No one’s caste, creed or religion is asked for the benefits of the schemes, rather eligibility is the priority. He told that in Gorakhpur city alone, 33 thousand poor people have been given houses under the PM Awas Yojana. This has brought a massive change in his life. The Chief Minister informed that 2.61 crore individual toilets have been built in Uttar Pradesh. 1.75 crore people have been given free cooking gas connections under the Ujjwala scheme. The government is also going to give free cylinders in Holi and Diwali.

Referring to the development journey of Gorakhpur in the last five-six years, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there is nothing in Gorakhpur today. AIIMS has been built here.
