    Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Smart School-Smart Block program at the auditorium located at Goralchod in Champawat on Thursday. He said that this will give new dimensions in the field of education. Describing it as a step towards making Champawat a model district, he said that it is also a good initiative for ideal Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that “Sampark” means “connection”, bringing positive change in the lives of the deprived and marginalized people of the society makes the purpose of Sampark Foundation meaningful. For this, he told the efforts of Sampark Foundation in the interest of the society. He said that today’s era is of science and technology and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also says that people should make full use of science and technology for the development of the country. He said that through technology we can do more work in less time with ease of tasks. He said that Sampark smart devices have been given to the schools so that children can learn easily, in simple language, in a joyful way.
    The Chief Minister said that a new India is being built under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The economy of many countries in the world is deteriorating, while the economy of India has become the economy of the 5th place from the 11th place even in this difficult time. In the coming century of independence, India will become the leading India of the world. The social and economic development of any country is the infants and children of that country. It depends on the type of their education, the quality of it. All these tasks are the responsibility of the teachers. The parents give the first sanskar, the second one is given by the teachers. Teachers do the work of educating and taking them forward in life. The children coming out of Champawat will go to different areas to illuminate the name of their parents, as well as illuminate the name of the village, area, district, state, and also illuminate the names of the teachers from where they received education.
    The Chief Minister said that the mandate has been issued for the campus of Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora being built in Champawat. Along with this, all the school buildings in Champawat district are being renovated and beautified, including necessary facilities are being provided, he said that the work of providing modern education to the people standing at the last end of the society is being done with the help of Sampark Foundation, Government. This partnership of the State Government and Sampark Foundation is an effort for the betterment of education to present an innovative and first of its kind study program in the government schools of the state.
    The Chief Minister said that many innovations are taking place in the field of education as well as many challenges have also come up. In the midst of all these challenges, the new education policy has come. This policy will work to give new dimensions to school education and higher education. The same will provide an opportunity for all classes of people to get education under the right of equality. Under the new education policy, students studying for competitive examinations will get benefits. Uttarakhand is the first state to have a new education policy which has been fully implemented in school education. The smart classes laid by the Sampark Foundation in this work will benefit the children.

    Welcoming the Chief Minister on the occasion, Founder Chairman of Sampark Foundation, Vineet Nair said that the objective of Government Smart Schools Smart Blocks Program is to improve the learning outcomes of 5484 children by training 274 teachers of 137 schools in Champawat block of Champawat district in the state. Have to improve. After successful implementation for 100 days in Champawat block, this program will be extended to Khirsu block of Pauri district in a time bound manner. Sampark’s team will also ensure capacity building of teachers so that teaching becomes systematic and easy. He informed that Sampark Foundation has brought its entire range of innovative learning resources to the Smart Schools Smart Blocks programme. These resources are in line with the state syllabus and SCERT, and will help in facilitating a complete change in the process of studying in the classroom. The resources provided by Sampark for this program include TV sets for each school, Sampark TV devices, Sampark Smart Shala application, Maths and English kit with Sampark Didi audio box, 500 lesson plans, 1100 lesson videos, TLM’s Along with 450 activities, 2000 worksheets as per class and subject, 3000 questions for assessment – Sampark Didi questions in KBC format, videos of science songs and experiments for classes 6 to 8 and a resource book for teachers.
    He said that Sampark FLN TV is an affordable plug-and-play device for classes 1 to 5, which consists of an Android set-top box and a remote. It is very easy to handle and operate and it transforms a normal television into an interactive and engaging learning platform, making the classroom a smart classroom. The liaison team will also train educational functionaries at the district, block, and cluster levels to monitor the use of TLMs and resources in schools and classrooms. On this occasion, District Magistrate Narendra Singh Bhandari said that the concept of an ideal Champawat given by the Chief Minister is creating new heights of success. Under which Champawat is touching new heights of development. Continuous funding is also being made available by the government for the development of the district. In which some works have started and some works are at planning stage. Science center is also going to be constructed in the district. For which land has also been transferred as well as funds have been received for DPR. He said that Champawat is achieving different heights in the field of education, health and tourism.
    The District Magistrate said that with the efforts of the Chief Minister, computer labs will be set up in many schools (high schools and intermediate colleges) of the district for the first time under Pitkul CSR, and he told that an amount of about 10 crores has been allocated from the disaster item, untied fund and district plan. has been given to the Education Department.     The Chief Secretary said that forest fire is a big challenge for the state. He said that research should be done on how forest fire can be controlled. Similarly, research can be done to prevent the damage caused by wild animals to the crops. Research on how bio-fencing can be effective in preventing the damage caused by wild boar, elephant and monkeys should be our top priority. Instructing the officers to set up biofencing cells, the Chief Secretary said that a senior officer should be given the responsibility.

    Instructing the Chief Secretary to send the Annual Plan of Program Operation (APO) to the Central Government by the month of December, said that an annual calendar should be prepared to complete the schemes on time. All the works should be completed within the stipulated time limit. It was informed during the meeting that a budget of Rs 411.88 crore has been fixed for the Annual Plan of Operation (APO). In the meeting, a recommendation was made by the Steering Committee of Uttarakhand Campa.

Work is in progress day and night for the convenience of the devotees. He said that on the lines of the world famous Chardham, the Manaskhand Temple Garland Project has been started by the State Government in Kumaon. Under this, the master plan of Jageshwar Dham has been prepared. Under this project, the important mythological/historical places of Kumaon division will be popularized by linking them with the circuit so that pilgrims/tourists from India and abroad can be attracted to come here and their journey can be made easy. This book has recently been published by the National Book Trust of India (NBT), Government of India. This is the second book by Jai Singh Rawat to be published by NBT. Both the books are research texts. Author Jai Singh Rawat said that in this research book, an attempt has been made to briefly throw light on the entire tribal society of India, but the complete focus has been made only on the five tribes of Uttarakhand. In this book, an attempt has been made to understand the processes of development and especially the impact of education and health schemes on the five tribes of Uttarakhand and their sub-castes, as well as various cultures, society, place, language, script, biological diversity, educational diversity of the tribal people. An attempt has been made to throw light on the level, impact of development, food habits, worship methods and traditional practices. This book is the result of the research and study of the author for more than three decades.
