    Gumla. Suspecting of illegal relationship late on Wednesday night near Bazar Tand located in Chainpur police station area, the husband killed his wife by slitting her throat with a cockerel. Police arrested the accused from Chainpur bus stand. It is said that there used to be frequent disputes between husband and wife. Due to this, the wife was living in her maternal home Rampur village for a long time. On Wednesday, both of them met in Chainpur Block Mod. After this, husband Amit Toppo brought his wife Manjula Toppo (Manjula Singh) home after persuasion. Meanwhile, while having breakfast in the hotel, an argument started between the two. At 9:30 in the night, Amit could not control his anger and murdered his wife by slitting her throat with a cockerel kept in the house and fled.

    The accused reached Chainpur bus stand in the early morning of Thursday in a bid to escape, where the police arrested him. The police have also recovered the sandpaper used in the murder at the instance of the accused. Police has sent the dead body to Sadar Hospital Gumla for postmortem.

    Amit Toppo told the police that he was suspicious of his wife’s illegal relationship for a long time, due to which she did not live with him. they have three children. Two children lived with the mother and one child with her. There was a lot of argument between the two in the night, after which he got angry and executed the incident.

    Navi Mumbai: Unit Two of Navi Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch arrested a 41-year-old man from Kolhapur for allegedly killing his wife in Kamothe earlier this month.
    The accused fled after committing the crime. The accused has been identified as Birafpa Shreerang Shejal and he is working in the CAG department and lives with his family at Trimurti Complex in Sector-11, Kamothe.
    According to the police, the couple, who got married in 2010, had frequent quarrels. Accused Shejal also doubted the character of his wife and victim Shilwanta.
    Husband had a dispute with husband
    There was an argument between the two on 7th April. Next morning, the accused dropped both his children at school and committed the crime after returning home.
    Later he fled. When the relatives of the victim later found her lying in a pool of blood in the bedroom of their house in Kamothe, they informed the police. Later, a case of murder was registered against Shejal.
    Crime Branch Unit-2 traced Shejal who was hiding in Bhudargarh, Kolhapur. The police team caught him who also confessed to the crime.

    Greater Noida (IANS) | In Greater Noida’s Jewar Kotwali area, a husband killed his wife and threw her body into the Yamuna river. Later, the accused reached Kotwali taking information about the missing of his wife. When the police interrogated the accused on suspicion, the accused accepted his crime.

    After this, the police reached near the Yamuna river with the accused. Police is engaged in search with divers and NDRF team. In this regard, the family members of the woman have filed a nominated complaint accusing the accused of murder.

    In fact, a person resident of Aligarh said in a complaint letter given to Jewar Kotwali that he had married his daughter Usha with Sarvan, a resident of Chantaga village in the area, about 3 years ago. The victim’s family alleges that her daughter’s husband murdered her and threw the body somewhere.

    Police say that before the parents, the accused husband reached Kotwali on Tuesday morning and started telling the police about the missing of his wife Usha. When the police interrogated him, a lot of contradictions were found in his statements. Due to which the police questioned the accused strictly, then the accused confessed his crime.

    During interrogation to the Jewar police, the accused husband Sarwan told that on Sunday night he had strangled his wife to death due to a dispute with her. After which he along with another of his companions threw his dead body on the bike and threw it in Yamuna river near Puran Nagar village. On hearing about the murder, the police informed the diver and the NDRF team. After which the police reached the spot with the accused. The police is engaged in searching the dead body of the woman.

    In this regard, Additional DCP Ashok Kumar says that the team of NDRF and divers are engaged in Yamuna river in search of the dead body of the woman. The dead body has not been found yet. The body will be recovered soon. The police team is engaged in questioning the accused.
