    Bhilai. Vicious thug Jyoti Soni, who cheated in the name of getting Prime Minister’s residence, has been arrested by the Supela police. Jyoti Soni, who was hiding in Talpuri’s Parijat Colony after the swindle, was caught after the police raid yesterday. The accused woman had also issued an allotment order of a fake house by calling herself a government officer. He cheated about 10 people by taking Rs 2.5 lakh each.

    Not only this, he cheated his other colleagues also of more than 1 crore. After being caught in Talpuri yesterday, Supela police arrested and sent him to jail. SP Shalabh Sinha said that in 2020, a case of cheating was registered against the woman. So far more than 12 victims of fraud have come forward, but its number may increase further.

    Woman Held For Stabbing Boyfriend In Southeast Delhi

    A 35-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her live-in-partner following a quarrel in southwest Delhi’s Kishangarh area, police said on Sunday.

    Samuel Resu, a resident of Nagaland, was injured in the attack but his condition is stated to be stable, they said.

    On Saturday, information was received at Kishangarh police station from Safdarjung Hospital that a man with a stab wound on chest was admitted to the facility, a senior police officer said.

    Investigation revealed that Resu and his girlfriend had a quarrel over some issue and she attacked him with a knife, he said, adding they both lived together.

    The woman was arrested and the knife used in the commission of crime seized, police said.

    A case of attempt to murder under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code was registered and further investigation taken up, they said.

    From the discussion so far, it was found that the accused had availed the benefits of the scheme under Indira Awas Yojana in the year 2001, but after that, in the year 2011-12, the accused had started using Indira Awas Yojana by hiding the facts and preparing fake documents and fake bills. Government money was grabbed by taking advantage again. On 20/04/23, the accused was arrested by the Hindolakhal police station and produced before the Hon’ble Court, from where the accused was sent to the District Jail, New Tehri judicial custody by the Hon’ble Court. Discussion against other accused is prevalent.

    The suspect has been identified as Rajni, a resident of Kharag Mangoli in the district.

    The police spokesman said a team of the anti-narcotics cell was patrolling on Old Panchkula road near Kharag Mangoli on Sunday when a woman coming towards it suddenly started running away.

    However, the team overpowered the woman and during checking, recovered 6.15 gm of heroin from her possession.

    A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against her at the Chandimandir police station. She was produced in court today, which remanded her in two-day police custody.

    Woman arrested for killing daughters in Bihar’s Vaishali

    Patna (IANS) | A woman has been arrested after she allegedly killed her two daughters in Bihar’s Vaishali district. The police gave this information on Saturday. Woman Rinku Devi has accepted the crime of killing her 18 and 16 year old daughters. The woman says that her daughters often used to go away with some youths.

    Rinku Devi said in her confessional statement, I first killed the elder daughter, then killed the younger daughter. Both often eloped with the youths. She had eloped with two youths 15 days ago. I put them to death.

    Sadar Range Vaishali SDPO Om Prakash said, “When we came to know about the incident in the morning, a team from Sarai police station reached the spot for investigation. On seeing the police, the girl’s father fled from the spot. He lives in Kolkata. We took the girls’ mother into custody for questioning. He has confessed that he killed his daughters.

    However, the way she appeared, we doubt whether she actually committed the crime or was trying to save her husband, the police officer said.

    SDPO Om Prakash said that on the basis of the confessional statement, we have arrested her and raids are being conducted to nab her husband. Rinku Devi claimed that she was angry with her daughters and hence killed them. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.

    Meanwhile, Neeraj Singh, head representative of Sheetal Bhakurahan panchayat, said, Rinku Devi came to my house in the morning and said that her husband had killed her two daughters. She had eloped 15 days back and her father was angry with her. He kept the girls mouth shut till they were dead. After committing the crime, he fled from the spot.
