    YS Jagan on Chittoor tour today

    Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will perform Bhoomi Puja on Tuesday for the restoration work of Chittoor dairy which is being undertaken at Rs. 385 crores. The government is aiming to complete the works and start the production by April 2024 by setting up a milk processing unit with a capacity of one lakh tonnes in the first phase. This unit will produce milk, curd, butter, paneer, and buttermilk.

    In the second phase, the government will be setting up the largest ice cream plant in the country with Re. 150 crore followed by a dairy factory, butter, milk powder, cheese, paneer, yogurt, and sweets manufacturing units along with Ultra High Treatment (UHT) plant will be set up.

    Through this dairy restoration, employment opportunities will be provided to 5000 people directly and 2 lakh people indirectly besides benefitting 25 lakh dairy farmers.

    YS Jagan to launch 516 e-auto today

    Guntur: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate 516 e-autos at his camp office at Tadepalli on Thursday. The e-autos will come into use from Friday onwards across the State.

    Special Chief Secretary Y Srilakshmi revealed that the government is introducing e-autos to collect domestic waste from door-to-door in Guntur. She said the introduction of e-autos will pave way to improve sanitation.

    Guntur Municipal Corporation will get over 200 e-autos. Municipal corporations and municipalities have already imparted necessary training to public health workers to drive e-autos.

    YS Jagan released the welfare calendar for the year 2023-24

    Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the ‘2023-24 Jagananna Government Welfare Calendar’ on Tuesday. Minister Chelluboina Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna, Information Commissioner Tumma Vijay Kumar Reddy, and others participated in the program held at the CM’s camp office in Tadepalli.

    The CM announced in advance through the welfare calendar which welfare schemes are being provided in which month throughout the year like nowhere else in the country. The government is providing the benefit accordingly. Within 45 months of the YS Jagan government coming to power, the benefit provided through welfare schemes (DBT, non-DBT) was Rs. 2,96,148.09 crores. The details of the welfare schemes to be provided by the government on a month-by-month basis are included in the welfare calendar.

    Grand celebration of Ugadi at YS Jagan’s residence

    The Ugadi celebrations began grandly at the Goshala of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence in Tadepalli. Ugadi celebrations are taking place in a way that reflects the traditions and customs of the Telugu people.

    On this occasion, CM Jagan unveiled the new calendar. Later, CM Jagan’s couple participated in panchanga shravan.

    The residence was decorated in such a way so that the culture and traditions of the Telugu people is depicted. Temple models have been set up on the model of Tirumala Anandanilayam. The idols of Dashavatars are impressive on the walls.
